Thank you once again to the WALG Association for renewing its confidence in the French Association to organize these World Championships in North Africa for the first time.
Marrakech is renowned for the quality of its destination, both in terms of golf and culture. We want to make this event a great discovery for many participants. This edition is eagerly awaited by our local partners, the Marrakech Tourist Office, and the directors of the courses that will be chosen.
The sun, exceptional courses, culture, hospitality, and Moroccan cuisine will be the highlights of this competition.
We want this 30th edition to be memorable, both for the quality of play on challenging courses and the tourist appeal of Marrakech, and for the level of service we will offer participants.

About us
World Championship for Left-Handed Golfers
The World Association of Left-Handed Golfers (W.A.L.G.) is proud to host the 30th edition of its World Championship in Marrakech, Morocco, from November 22 to 27, 2026. For the first time ever in North Africa, this international golf event will take place on four exceptional courses.
Celebrate the unique spirit of left-handed golf in the vibrant “Red City” and enjoy six days of intense competition, camaraderie, and cultural discoveries in the heart of Morocco's tourist capital.
Tournament venue:
Hotel KENZI ROSE Garden
Registration for the competition will take place at the hotel from Saturday, May 21 to Sunday, May 22.

Day 3
Second tour :
- Golf courses, groups, and transportation according to categories.
- Traditional Moroccan evening with Méchoui and Cavalcade
(Advance registration required)
Day 4
Departure from the hotel for optional tours and excursions (advance registration required). Times and groups to be confirmed.
Excursions and tours may be canceled depending on the number of participants.
Day 5
Third tour:
- Golf courses, groups, and transportation based on categories and results from the first two rounds.
- WALG meeting in the hotel lounges.
Day 6
Third tour:
- Golf courses, groups, and transportation based on categories and results from the first two rounds
- Cocktail reception, gala dinner, and awards ceremony in the hotel's reception rooms

Format et règles
The WALG Championship will be played over 72 holes of stroke play in the following divisions:
Open
Senior (60+)
Super Senior (+70)
Dames
The R&A Rules of Golf govern all games. Where applicable, all local course rules must be observed. Any communication regarding tournament rules, format, scoring, or any questions or clarifications must be submitted to the tournament committee in writing or by email. In the event of interruption or disruption of play due to rain or any other situation beyond the control of the organizers, the committee will decide on the course of action and inform the golfers.
All decisions made by the tournament committee shall be final and binding. The tournament committee reserves the right to make changes to the format, etc., and to announce them before the start of the tournament.
PAYMENT:
No registration will be validated without full payment of the amounts due.
CANCELLATION:
A full refund will be granted until August 31, 2026. No refunds will be given after September 1, except in cases of force majeure.
AIRPORT/HOTEL TRANSFERS:
You must provide the organization with your flight number and arrival time as soon as possible so that we can arrange for your transfer. Depending on arrivals, either in groups or individually,
ADDITIONAL STAY:
On request, we can offer additional stays in Marrakech or elsewhere in Morocco, before
and/or after the competition. Please contact the organizing committee for any requests.
